Charcuterie just showed me this and asked, “Mama, why is Lena Dunham doing poetry now?”
And I didn’t have an answer for her. pic.twitter.com/tmYHGrLCPr

Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Peter Doocy pressed White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on the 10 U.S. scientists and contractors who are either missing or dead over the last two years.
These scientists and defense‑linked experts have ties to NASA, Los Alamos in New Mexico, fusion research, or nuclear weapons work. However, as of now, there is no confirmed official finding that these cases are connected.
Is it Iran?
A Peel police presentation last week to school administrators about youth gangs — which included a music video containing the N-word — prompted an apology Friday from the force for “any harm” caused to those in attendance.
Meanwhile the school board, which initially apologized in a memo to staff the next day, appeared to soften its earlier account, saying Friday that after a review, the memo “does not fully reflect the context or intent of the session.”
The April 9 presentation by Peel Regional Police was delivered to administrators and superintendents at the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board as part of a session on student safety, including gang awareness and how to identify and respond to risks facing students.

This orange cat has made a home in the capybara enclosure in Zoo Negara in Malaysia.
Zoo staff are not exactly sure when the cat's move happened, but it seems like its fitting in nicely.

Last month, we received a report from a whistleblower who claimed that illegal aliens were staying in San Francisco’s homeless shelters. Following up on the tip, we visited numerous publicly funded shelters in San Francisco, and spoke to employees and residents about their policies, sometimes through a translator.
We discovered not only that the shelters were housing illegal immigrants but also that they were apparently housing a population of male-to-female “transgender” illegal aliens, who had hoped to obtain “gender-affirming care.” And, to our shock, state and local governments apparently are providing it.
More than 150 inmates have been improperly released from Ontario’s jails over several years, a problem that Premier Doug Ford called “unacceptable” on Wednesday.
Global News unearthed government documents through freedom-of-information laws that show the province mistakenly released 157 inmates between 2021 and 2025.
Those documents say the majority of errors were made at the jails and in court, some were administrative while others were human error.
Chinese carmaker Seres has been granted a patent for what it calls an “in-vehicle toilet” that slides under a passenger’s seat for visits to the loo while on the road.
The feature is meant to “satisfy users’ toilet needs on long journeys, while camping or while staying in the car”, engineers wrote in Seres’ patent filing in China on 10 April.
Call it Air Ford One.
The Ontario government has purchased a used $28.9 million private jet for the use of Premier Doug Ford, the Star has learned.
A senior official, speaking confidentially in order to discuss the matter, confirmed that the province this week took possession of a 2016 Bombardier Challenger 650 executive jet.
Make Ford take public transit so he can see first hand the shithole Ontario has become.
Federal housing officials approved nearly $1.2 million in taxpayer funding for a program that handed out cameras to homeless individuals as part of an arts-based exhibition, despite internal records showing the initiative struggled to meet its goals and lacked clear data on its target population.
Blacklock’s Reporter says Access to Information documents show the funding, totalling $1,199,921, was allocated through a Veteran Homelessness Program overseen by Housing Minister Gregor Robertson’s department.
I bet that bought a lot of crack.
As the Liberals enjoy some of the most explosive polling leads in Canadian history, a leading pollster is suggesting that it’s mostly a product of mathematical error.
This week, Abacus Data CEO David Coletto suggested that many of his peers are chronically undercounting Conservative voters, presenting a “distorted version” of the electorate to the public.
Canadian laws didn’t apply to Gilbert Nuamah.
That’s what the convicted sex offender facing deportation allegedly told cops who had just arrested him for sexually assaulting an Indigenous woman.
