LILLEY: Liberal rules mean non-citizens could be choosing next prime minister

Will the people who decide who the next Liberal leader, and therefore next prime minister of Canada, is even be Canadian?

That’s not a crazy or racist comment as the governing party heads into a leadership race, it’s a comment based on their rules for voting.

The Liberal Party allows people who are non-citizens of Canada and who are as young as 14 to vote in leadership races. All the parties have rules that are too loose, but the Liberals have the craziest rules of all.

Tell me again that the Liberal Party doesn’t hate Canada.

Donald Trump Jr visits Greenland amid father’s interest in owning island

Donald Trump Jr touched down in Greenland on Tuesday, hours after his father reiterated his interest in taking control of the Arctic autonomous territory, pledging to “make Greenland great again”.

After arriving in the Greenlandic capital in a Trump-branded plane, he told a waiting crowd in the Nuuk airport arrivals hall – some wearing red Make America Great Again caps – that he was “very excited to be here”. It was, he said, “a little colder here than it is in Florida”, adding that the US president-elect “says hello to everyone in Greenland”.

Pelosi Rewrites History on the Assault against Her Husband

After observing that the January 6 riots were “personal” for Nancy Pelosi and making note of the fact that the interlopers in the Capitol chanted her name and sought to “shoot her in the friggin’ brain,” Nancy Pelosi could only answer in the negative when CBS News host Margaret Brennan asked whether she thought the event’s “nonviolent attackers” deserved a pardon.

“The nonviolent?” Pelosi replied. “I think that’s a violent attacker.” Moreover, the former House speaker added, the instigation in which Donald Trump engaged ahead of that day’s violence didn’t end with the assault on the Capitol. “He called out to these people to continue their violence,” Pelosi continued. “My husband being a victim of all of that. And it’s still, he still has injuries from that attack. So it just goes on and on.”
