Dual citizens weigh Trump, taxes in decision to renounce U.S. citizenship

Ella Heyder is bracing for a breakup, even though she already moved out decades ago.

She’s contemplating cutting ties altogether with her home country, the United States of America, and President Donald Trump.

“I’m quite disturbed by what’s happening in the U.S. under Trump’s regime. It’s a fascist, imperialist regime,” Heyder said as she and others waved signs outside the American Embassy in Ottawa during what has become a twice-weekly protest against the current U.S. administration.

2 men accused of fathering hundreds of kids banned from donating sperm in Quebec

Quebec’s Superior Court has temporarily barred a man and his son from donating sperm after they were accused of fathering hundreds of children.

The injunction against the two men will remain in effect while the wider case against them proceeds on its merits.

They are being sued by a woman who has had three children using the sperm of one man and a fourth child with the genetic material of the man’s son.

It’s like laboratory incest.

Appointment of trans person as endometriosis representative ridiculed

A female novelist has criticised the appointment of a trans woman to represent an endometriosis charity, comparing it to a white person claiming to speak for black people.

Amanda Craig, who has published nine novels and was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction in 2021, spoke out after Steph Richards was named as the parliamentary engagement officer for Endometriosis South Coast.

Endometriosis is a chronic and painful gynaecological condition in which cells similar to those in the lining of the uterus grow in other parts of the body. It affects one in ten women in the UK.

Kill Krazy Kanadians Endorse MAiD For Those Suffering Mental Illness

Canadians’ support for medical assistance in dying (MAID) remains robust even when mental illness is the sole underlying condition, and it has strengthened over time rather than faded.

According to research conducted by Environics Research for Dying With Dignity Canada (DWDC), 80 percent of Canadians support eligibility for MAID where mental illness is the sole underlying medical condition, a level consistent with previous years.

Is that only because Whites are the overwhelming majority of MAiD patients?

A total of 15,927 people who received MAID responded to the question on racial, ethnic or cultural identity. The vast majority (95.6%) identified as Caucasian (White). The second most commonly reported racial, ethnic or cultural identity was East Asian (1.6%). These percentages are close to those reported for 2023 (95.8% Caucasian; 1.8% East Asian).

Masculinity Experts “Map the Manosphere” and Find Nothing Good

Or, Why we can’t hate gender studies enough

Nothing beats a threat narrative for a gender studies academic in search of relevance, and what more urgent than the dark corners of the internet where men (and the women who love them) allegedly spread misogyny and male supremacism.

Many academics now claim expertise in this area of gender studies, probing the volatile fragility and violent anxieties of manosphere men, and calling to repentance all who resist the feminist future. Many of these academics are women, making a sweet living warning about male “hate,” but there are plenty of male feminists as well, crusaders against others’ toxicity.
