Police have launched a hunt for a Manchester United fan photographed wearing a team shirt with “Hamas 7” printed on the back.
The unidentified man was pictured walking near Oxford Circus tube station in central London on Friday afternoon.

The suspect stabbed four girls, ages 9 to 17, at an AMC multiplex in Braintree at about 6 pm, before stabbing a 21-year-old female and a 29-year-old man at a McDonalds 30 miles away about an hour later.

Backlash as Muslim children in Italy exempted from studying Dante
An Italian school’s decision to exempt Muslim children from studying Dante because the mediaeval poet placed Mohammed in hell in The Divine Comedy has sparked a backlash and a debate over cancel culture.
Politicians from both the Left and Right said that Dante was a pillar of Italian literature and that it was unacceptable for children to be exempted from studying his writing because of their faith.
The row broke out after a secondary school in Treviso in the north of the country reportedly allowed two Muslim children, aged around 14, to not attend classes in which The Divine Comedy was being studied.

Plan to let undocumented migrants stay in Canada to be examined by PM, ministers
The federal cabinet could discuss plans as early as next week to provide a path to citizenship for thousands of migrants living in Canada without valid documents, including rejected asylum seekers, so they can remain here legally.
Immigration Minister Marc Miller is preparing a plan for discussion by cabinet before Parliament breaks for its summer recess within weeks.
It would propose that people living in Canada without legal status – including former international students whose study permits have expired – have a chance to apply to regularize their position and gain permanent residence.
This says Trudeau wants to cause as much harm as possible before he gets the boot.
