‘Why not do it together?’: Lifelong friends take part in ‘brosectomy’ in Vancouver
While many people choose to keep their medical appointments private, four longtime friends decided to undergo vasectomies as a group in B.C.’s Lower Mainland.
“We all had to do it so we said, why not do it together?” said Craig Tatham, a dad from Maple Ridge.
Two bodies have been recovered in connection with the disappearance of a pair of Kansas mothers who were last seen two weeks ago, while four people have been charged with kidnapping and murder.
Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, were traveling together to pick up Butler’s children, ages 6 and 8, on March 30, when they disappeared about three miles from where they were scheduled to pick up Butler’s children.
Butler was going through a nasty divorce and custody battle and Kelley, a pastor’s wife, is one of her supervisors for her visitations with the kids. It was Butler’s six-year-old daughter’s birthday and they were planning to celebrate.

A transgender charity runner from Daventry will attempt to complete the full set of six marathon ‘majors’ in Boston on Monday after competing in the events in three gender categories.
Glenique Frank, who apologised after last year’s London Marathon following criticism for running in the female category, is calling on race organisers to now introduce a specific category for transgender athletes.
“I want to campaign to get a category in world sport and charity events, anything, for transgender athletes,” she told the BBC.
This reportedly happened yesterday in Carlsbad, California. A group of mostly military age males invaded our country illegally via boat and then dispersed throughout the city in cars.

The first picture that greeted visitors to the first-floor exhibition space in Munich’s Pinakothek der Moderne gallery on 23 February may not have immediately grabbed their attention.
The 60cm by 120cm artwork was a retro-looking photograph of a family of four, with the background and parts of the faces and bodies roughly painted over in white.
