“The white people in Canada are subhuman because of what they’ve allowed to happen,” said former Chief Councillor of the Tla’amin First Nation KWAST-en-ayu (Maynard Harry) in a 90 minute phone interview with The New Westminster Times about the City of Powell River’s controversial name change proposal.

… “White people need to acknowledge their culture is lost,” said KWAST-en-ayu bluntly. “White settler culture is a lost culture because nothing good defines white people.”

“If I insult white people, I don’t give a sh-t,” admitted KWAST-en-ayu.

I will vote for the leader who says, “Hey Abo’s you’re on your own, no more cheques.”

NDP pushing Liberals to recognize state of Palestine as U.K., U.S. signal openness

Palestinians. Casual get together,

New Democrats are calling on the Liberal government to have Canada formally recognize Palestine as a state, saying it would help advance peace in the Middle East.

“It’s time for Canada to do more, to build a peaceful resolution for the people of Palestine and the people of Israel,” NDP foreign affairs critic Heather McPherson said Tuesday.

McPherson will table a private member’s motion in the House of Commons that would recognize Palestinian territories as a sovereign state.

Congenital Syphilis Rises 2,345 Percent in Ontario, Up 599 Percent in Canada, Reports Show

Rates of syphilis during pregnancy have risen a whopping 2,345 percent in Ontario in just four years, according to recently released government data.

Cases of congenital syphilis—where the disease is passed to a baby during pregnancy or at birth—have increased substantially across Canada, rising 599 percent between 2018 and 2022, the last year for which figures are available.

In 1970, the intelligentsia loved Diary of a Mad Housewife. In the movie, a woman with an emotionally abusive husband starts an affair with an emotionally abusive man. The movie’s dénouement sees her telling her story to an emotionally abusive group therapy session. Now, that same movie would be about a bored, elitist housewife who has polyamorous relationships, writes books, gets celebrated in the New York Times—and still isn’t happy. I hate to say it, but if these women took motherhood and grandmotherhood more seriously, they’d be happier and less slutty.

It really shouldn’t need to be said, but a children’s soft-play centre is not an appropriate venue for a fetish party. The reason this does apparently need to be said is because a kids’ party venue in West Sussex recently hosted an after-hours ‘play session’ for adult fetishists.

UPenn students, interim president slam professor’s ‘antisemitic’ political cartoons

The University of Pennsylvania is embroiled in yet another scandal in the wake of October 7: communications school lecturer Dwayne Booth is under fire for political cartoons that critics say are antisemitic.

One of Booth’s illustrations, entitled “Slaughterhouse,” shows Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu with red glowing eyes, covered in blood and holding a knife.

The controversial images were published on Booth’s personal website, crowncrack.com, where he uses the pseudonym Mr. Fish.

Golf is on a roll in France: last month Matthieu Pavon became the first French player to win on the PGA Tour since 1907, and Céline Boutier made history last year as only the third French woman to win a major championship.

Yet for all this surge in popularity, all is not well on the courses. Players are cutting up rough over claims from a left-wing firebrand that slugging away for 18 holes is on a par with being racist.
