$185k?! For drinking a beer in a bathtub?! Day one of being a “girl” here I come

Boy, (oops, I apologize for using gendered language, this is all new for me) did I choose the wrong career path, here I’ve been working all these years. What a sucker I am!

I could have slapped on some makeup, jumped in a bathtub, and drank beer with the enthusiasm of a hyperactive chipmunk hopped up on cocaine and Starbucks… Instead, I traded in my back, hips, feet, and knees for peanuts!

What Happens When Men Choose Robot Brides?

Anyone who doubts how realistic robots are becoming has not visited YouTube recently.

About twenty years ago, colleges and universities began chasing men away. In part due to the U.S. civil rights law called Title IX, in part due to the pendulum swinging back from male dominance, and in part due to a “feelings are paramount” protocol, some women’s (hostile?) attitudes towards men began taking over campuses. Many male students sensed the change and asked rhetorically, “Who needs it?” They left (and continue to leave) brick-and-mortar schools in droves for online and professional training. In 2021, The Wall Street Journal noted that U.S. colleges and universities had 1.5 million fewer students on campus than they had had five years prior. Men accounted for more than 70 percent of that enrollment drop! Inside Higher Education made a similar observation, noting that “it’s clear that men are disappearing from college and university campuses — especially community colleges and large public universities — at rates never seen before,” and offering one of the reasons as “campus climates and services not tailored to men.”

Neo-Nazi marchers descended on Madison, Wisc., for a twisted weekend rally, prompting swift condemnation from state and local pols and University of Wisconsin-Madison officials.

A group of approximately 20 people dressed in red and black and masks while waving large Nazi flags and making the Nazi salute made their way from State Street near the UW-Madison campus to the state capitol Saturday, cops said.

Wow 20 Nazis! In Gimp masks it seems.

Taxpayer-subsidized Stellantis battery plant potentially importing international workers

A handful of temporary workers from South Korea have arrived in Windsor to staff up a new Stellantis electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant, according to officials with the Ontario government, raising concerns that massive taxpayer subsidies could be used to employ international auto workers over Canadians.

… On Thursday, Windsor Police posted photos of a meeting with the South Korean Ambassador Lim Woong Son on X (formerly Twitter) to discuss the “South Korean workforce coming to our community.”

“With the new LGEnergy Solutions battery plant being built, we expect approximately 1,600 South Koreans traveling to work and live in our community in 2024,” the force said on social media.

Palestinian Authority claims Israel, not Hamas, committed Re’im massacre

The Palestinian Authority’s Finance Ministry put out a statement on Sunday, denying terror group Hamas was responsible for at least 350 partygoers slain at the Re’im music festival massacre.

The statement says that “preliminary Israeli police investigations” showed that Israeli claims in the media were false, followed up by saying that this was then used by “the occupation to justify its aggression against Gaza.”
