RCMP investigating violations of security law in connection to leaks of foreign interference allegations

The RCMP says it has launched an investigation into violations of national security information law in connection to media leaks of Chinese foreign interference allegations.

“The RCMP has initiated an investigation into violations of the Security of Information Act (SOIA) associated with recent media reports,” said a spokesperson for the federal police force in a statement to CTV News on Monday.

“This investigation is not focused on any one security agency. As the RCMP is investigating these incidents, there will be no further comment on this matter at this time,” said the RCMP’s Robin Percival.

Ryodan teenagers ‘trying to destablise Russia and Ukraine’

A youth subculture whose members dress in black clothes decorated with spiders has been accused of seeking to destabilise both Russia and Ukraine after a series of mass brawls.

Little was known about the PMC Ryodan movement until last weekend, when more than 450 teenagers were arrested in Russia after fights broke out at shopping centres from St Petersburg to Siberia. Within days, the movement had spread to Ukraine, where at least 250 teens were detained by police in war-torn Kharkiv as they gathered to take part in pre-arranged clashes.

This seems a very pale imitation of the Ultras, kinda fitting they would fight in a mall somehow.

Massachusetts school faces federal investigation for ‘racial segregation’ after barring white students from auditioning for school play

A January theatre production out of Newton North High School has landed the school district under federal investigation by the Department of Education after the company barred white students from auditioning.

The Massachusetts school’s Theater Ink program put on a show titled ‘Lost and Found: Our Stories as People of Color,’ which according to the show’s audition packet acted as ‘a reserved safe space for this exploration and for people of color to be vulnerable and support one another.’

At the time of auditions last fall, the student director posted a video to the company’s website declaring that ‘All BIPOC [Black, indigenous and people of color] students at North are invited to audition.’

Inside the James O’Keefe ouster at Project Veritas

Why did the board force out their founder?

The old adage goes that there are two sides to every story, and the truth lies somewhere in the middle. There doesn’t seem to be a better way to describe the recent turmoil at Project Veritas, the conservative journalism organization known for its undercover sting operations. Project Veritas’s founder and CEO James O’Keefe resigned from his post a little over a week ago after the non-profit’s board of directors placed him on unpaid leave pending an investigation for alleged financial malfeasance and abuse of staff.

EV ‘Emissions’ and AM Radio

Tesla doesn’t give you what used to come standard in the lowliest Yugo or Chevette.

Everyone knows electric vehicles are silent. But did you know they are also silencing something?

AM radio is something you can’t hear in a number of new EVs — including Teslas and the 2023 Ford Lightning, the electric version of the popular F-150 pickup truck. The same is true for Ford’s Mach-E “Mustang,” the automaker’s first mass-market electric crossover SUV.

These EVs aren’t equipped to receive AM signals.

Now Disney Says Bluebirds and Sunshine Are Racist, Too

The Orange County Register’s headline was another signpost along the way of our long march toward Racial Justice: “Disneyland quietly removes controversial lyric from new parade soundtrack.” That’s good, eh? It’s heartwarming to see the big corporations doing what must be done in order to ensure a just and equitable society for all. And so visitors to Disneyland will never again be subjected to having to hear these horrific racist lyrics: “Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay / My, oh my, what a wonderful day / Plenty of sunshine headin’ my way / Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay.”
