On Newsmax, where he co-hosts the show Spicer & Co., Spicer gave an early reaction to Russian national Igor Danchenko being found not guilty Tuesday on four false statements charges over allegations that the main source of British ex-spy Christopher Steele lied to the FBI about his sourcing for the now-discredited anti-Trump dossier.

Igor Danchenko Trump-Russia Steele dossier analyst acquitted of lying to FBI

A Russian analyst who worked on a discredited dossier linking Donald Trump to Russia has been found not guilty of lying to the FBI.

The Department of Justice charged Igor Danchenko, 43, as part of a probe into the FBI’s inquiry into whether Mr Trump colluded with Russia to win in 2016.

The so-called Steele dossier was used by the FBI to obtain surveillance warrants on a top Trump aide.

Mr Danchenko was accused of lying to agents about the dossier’s sources.

Gavin Newsom’s wife Jennifer wrote to Harvey Weinstein asking for his help in dealing with a sex scandal involving her husband, two years after she says the movie mogul raped her.

The email will be presented to the jury at Weinstein’s Los Angeles trial as apparent proof that their encounter was consensual. It was first raised last night in a filing from Weinstein’s legal team.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom says Weinstein raped her in 2005 after ‘luring’ her to a hotel room. At the time, she was an actress and had not yet started dating Newsom. In 2007, a year after she met Newsom and started dating him, he became embroiled in an embarrassing sex scandal.

RAF pilots could be banned from training Chinese military

Ministers want to change the law to prevent pilots who have served in the armed forces from training the Chinese military after it emerged that Beijing had recruited dozens of British former armed forces pilots to train its air force in an effort to understand western tactics.

At least 30 former fast jet and helicopter pilots have been lured by sums of about $270,000 a year since the start of the pandemic to help China develop its tactics and technological expertise.

US researchers have developed a new lethal Covid strain in a laboratory – echoing the type of experiments many fear started the pandemic.

The mutant variant — which is a hybrid of Omicron and the original Wuhan virus — killed 80 percent of mice infected with it at Boston University.

When a similar group of rodents were exposed to the standard Omicron strain, however, they all survived and only experienced ‘mild’ symptoms.

Alaska snow crab season canceled as officials investigate disappearance of an estimated 1 BILLION crabs

The famed snow crab fishing season in Alaska’s notorious Bering Sea is canceled for the first time in the state’s history. The cancelation was confirmed on Monday.

The decision comes as officials announced that one billion snow crabs have gone missing from the sea. An investigation into the disappearance by government agencies is continuing.

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, over the last two years, the snow crab population has dropped by around 90 percent.
