Meet the Trudeau protege who might one day have his job …

OTTAWA, Ont. — Mélanie Joly’s political resume is longer than you might think — student activist leader, out-of-the-blue candidate who nearly became a big-city mayor and now Canada’s face on the world stage.

The foreign minister’s career — which includes a high-profile Cabinet demotion — has elevated her into a cluster of Liberals who could one day take over from party leader Justin Trudeau.

I double checked it’s not April 1st.

Why are so many young women buying into polyamory?

Stability is the one thing that throuples and polycules can never provide

The saddest thing I saw this week was a dating advert written by a woman — let’s call her Jane — looking for a man to start a family with.

There was nothing sad about Jane per se: she’s attractive and accomplished in the usual alarming millennial way. Not only does she have a well-paid job in a tech firm, but she climbs, plays the cello, writes plays and is a near-professional baker. Because young people these days don’t drink until they pass out, they have time for hobbies.

Maher On Big Tit Teacher: “What if she came in with a giant c%ck?”

After characterizing Ontario as “a big blue state to the north.” Maher stated, “They completely stood by her, the school district, talking about equitable treatment without discrimination. Yes, we’re all for that. Without — based not upon gender, yes, identity expression, we’re all for that. … But the giant tits are scaring the children. I mean, come on, can you just do anything?”

Trans: a fetishised view of womanhood

What that Canadian teacher with giant breasts reveals about trans identity.

There are some occasions when it is perfectly acceptable for men to don dodgy wigs and strap on comically large plastic boobs – think stag dos and drag nights. But it is generally agreed that such antics ought to be kept out of schools and away from children. As such, when the first photos and videos surfaced of a Canadian school teacher wearing a gargantuan set of fake breasts with protruding nipples, most people assumed it must have been a hoax. It was not.

A New Counterculture?

If the Right captures some of the Left’s youthful energy and rebellious cachet, it would represent a tectonic cultural and political shift.

In July, the New York Times posted a job announcement seeking a reporter-cum-anthropologist to cover an important new beat: infiltrating the “online communities and influential personalities making up the right-wing media ecosystem” and “shedding light on their motivations” for the benefit of Times readers. Establishing this “critical listening post” would not be a role for the faint of heart. The daring candidate would have to be specifically “prepared to inhabit corners of the internet” where “far-right” ideas were discussed, all for the higher goal of determining “where and why these ideas take shape.”

The Horror! Teacher faces ‘disciplinary action’ for sending home sheet depicting stereotypes

Indigenous student sent home with ‘offensive’ worksheet, prompting audit at Niagara school

Warning: This story contains the image in question. (CBC Trigger warning so you know it’s scary!)

A Niagara-area school is auditing the materials of a teacher who’s facing undisclosed “disciplinary action” after a student was sent home with a worksheet depicting two cartoon characters in stereotypical Indigenous clothing, including feathered headbands.

OMG! Those Little Indians are the stuff of nightmares!
