While the West Cries Islamophobia, Sexual Slavery Continues Unchecked

The uncomfortable truth is that the practice of sexual abuse and enslavement is condoned by Islamic scriptures.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel. They murdered 1,200 people, burned families alive, and wounded over 5,000. They tortured and raped women, and abducted roughly 250 hostages, including babies, children and women, many of whom were later killed.

The world watched in horror, shocked by the astonishing brutality. But this was not the first instance of jihadists kidnapping and enslaving Jewish women and families. In fact, the first victims of Islamic sexual slavery were Jewish women and girls in Arabia during the seventh century.

He came in during a “moment of crisis” and has signalled he wants to move boldly and aggressively to fix many of the problems facing the country. But there are plenty of reasons to think that Carney is going to be unable to deliver this change.

Keir Starmer to visit Canada for security talks after Trump threats

Sir Keir Starmer will travel to Canada next week to discuss security and economic co-operation after President Trump’s threats to its independence, The Times has learned.

He will meet Mark Carney, the prime minister, on June 14, against a backdrop of growing tensions between Ottawa and Washington.

Carney attempted to repair relations on a visit to the White House last month, but was rebuffed last week when Trump doubled tariffs on steel imports to 50 per cent, sparking Canadian warnings of “catastrophic” job losses, factory closures and disruption to supply chains. The UK is the only country that has avoided the 50 per cent tariff after Trump and Starmer struck a deal.

I bet this strikes fear into Washington.

Conrad Black: A repulsive antisemitism plagues U of T profs

It is not conceivable that Canadians are happy with the increasingly hostile treatment of Jews in this country and the reputation that Canada is acquiring as a woke, trendy, antisemitic country. I’ve written here before of the antics of the University of Toronto Faculty Association (UTFA) and its drooling hostility to Israel. The latest development on that very depressing subject was the association’s vote on May 8 demanding that the university pension plan divest of any securities issued by almost any company that trades with Israel. It is utterly scandalous that Israel should be singled out in this way, especially given the unrelievedly horrifying history of modern antisemitism. It is distressing to think the leadership of a faculty association in one of the principal universities of this country could go to the lengths that it has to adopt such a repulsive measure against such a much-wronged people.

I doubt we will be able to turn back the clock.

We are witnessing a culture change in Canada brought about by a ruinous mass immigration policy imposed upon us by the evil men and women of Canada’s elite.

Their greed made them evil and convinced them we were just numbers to be played with as they desired.

Canada is now a balkanized low trust society serving as proof of the lie that diversity would make us stronger.

Our replacements among the Bangladeshi’s, Chinese, Hindus, and Africans etc. care little about Jews and even less about White People.

You don’t have to wonder where the 2 million strong Islamist settlers resident amongst the shards of what was once Canada stand.

Annexation by the US and mass deportation of Islamists and other incompatible cultures may be all we can hope for.

In 2020, surgeons extracted veins from Anderson’s leg and grafted them to his heart in a quadruple bypass. His original coronary arteries had become so clogged with fat that he had had a heart attack.

Is Climate Change Destroying the Environment?

Like most zany progressive schemes, the climate change cult has tremendous potential to create unintended consequences.

A recent article in the Washington Post  caught my eye. It outlined the astounding loss of over 3 million birds among breeding adults — 30 percent of the adult population — in the last half century (waterfowl are an exception due to wetlands protection). The article goes on to discuss possible causes. Not surprisingly loss of habitat was among them. Then, of course, the leading usual suspect was rounded up; that being climate change.

The Post — being the Post — did not dare to bring up solar and wind farms as culprits. That is the third rail of the Green-Industrial Complex and the Post, New York Times, and NPR dare not touch it for fear of offending their elite progressive base; or are birds and butterflies sacrifices on the altar of climate change?

Why Iran Will Never Give Up Its Nuclear Weapons

Iran’s ruling elite, bluntly, believes that both its survival and its mission depend on acquiring nuclear weapons. They saw what happened to Libya and Ukraine when their leaders gave up their nuclear weapons, and understood that this was not the way to go. To Iran’s rulers, their nuclear program is not just a policy objective to protect the continuation of their regime, but the centerpiece of Iran’s ideology and propaganda.

Despite having some of the world’s richest oil and gas reserves, the regime has accepted crushing sanctions and economic ruin, all under the excuse of pursuing nuclear power. The regime’s goal is the bomb.

Sean Combs and the Sweater Defense

We are midway through the Sean Combs trial for racketeering, conspiracy and sex trafficking. The prosecution could rest its case as early as next week, at which point the defense will take over. But the team has already previewed one aspect of its case. As the defense lawyer Teny Geragos said in her opening statement, it’s not about what the prosecution is “trying to make my client out to be.”

All anyone in the courtroom has to do is glance at the defendant to know what she means.

The Sean Combs sitting at the defendant’s table does not look anything like the Sean Combs whose behavior is on trial; the Sean Combs of most people’s memories. His hair and goatee have gone almost white, thanks to prison rules that forbid hair dye. He wears black framed reading glasses. And he is always dressed in a white collared shirt and a neutral toned crew-neck sweater: blue sweaters, gray sweaters, beige sweaters.
