Bags of Cash From Drug Cartels Flood Teller Windows at U.S. Banks

Chinese money-launderers allegedly made six-figure deposits at Chase, Bank of America and Citibank branches across Los Angeles County

On a hazy Southern California morning, undercover police officers watched Jiayong Yu step out of a Range Rover in a strip-mall parking lot and walk into a Chase bank with a black-leather backpack full of cash.

At the teller window, Yu pulled out stacks of bills and waited while a woman fed them into a cash-counting machine. After Yu left, an officer asked the teller if he had deposited more than $10,000, the threshold requiring banks to flag transactions to federal regulators.

More like $100,000, the teller said. By then, Yu was already on his way to Chase and Bank of America branches in Claremont, Calif., about 35 miles away.

Federal authorities allege that Yu worked for an underground banking network that bought dollars at a discount from Mexico’s Sinaloa drug cartel and sold them at a premium, largely to Chinese nationals in the U.S.

PINDER: Fires of Western independence will not be so easily extinguished

The possibility of an independent Alberta and Saskatchewan — and other parts of the West — is now before us. Like the recent fires in Pacific Palisades, the tinder has been building for decades.

That is, the explosive shrubbery in the hills north of Los Angeles was growing and ignored, just as legitimate Western grievances have been dismissed as “whining.”

OTTAWA — Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said Thursday that Liberal cabinet minister Steven Guilbeault posed an imminent danger to Confederation, one day after Guilbeault’s off-the-cuff comments on pipelines set off a firestorm in Alberta.

The Plight of the Afrikaners Is a Clarifying Moment for Western Civilization

The Left is crying with rage.

This week, President Donald Trump generated a significant amount of attention by focusing on something the world has abjectly refused to focus on for the past 30 years or so.

Namely, that South Africa has devolved into a hellish failed state run by gangsters, and the primary victims of this devolution are the descendants of the people who established civilization there.

New Documentary Proves Trump Is Right to Defund PBS

Paula Kerger, CEO of PBS, wasted no time in condemning President Trump’s May 2 executive order cutting federal funding for the public broadcaster. Defunding her organization, she declared, “threatens our ability to serve the American public with educational programming.” Only days earlier, however, PBS had aired just the kind of ideologically biased documentary that demonstrates why Trump is right to defund the network.

The documentary, Critical Condition: Health in Black America, focuses on a real and important problem: on average, health outcomes for black Americans are worse than those for people of other races. But instead of addressing the real causes of this crisis—namely group differences in diet, exercise, and health literacy—the documentary settles on the false, simplistic narrative peddled by activists that all differences in health outcomes must be caused by racism.

GOLDSTEIN: Honda decision raises doubts about Canada’s $52.5 billion bet on EVs

Honda’s decision to delay its $15-billion Electric Vehicle project in Alliston, Ontario for two years is a reminder of the enormous financial stake federal and provincial governments have made in EVs, committing to larger taxpayer-funded incentives than the industry is investing in itself.

The England We Once Respected

Jews have a long history of residence in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, under King Edward I in 1290 CE, England was one of the first countries to expel Jews from its borders — an event which Oliver Cromwell remedied in 1650, after nearly 400 years.

Since 1650, after a relatively undisturbed period in the UK of nearly another 400 years, publicly expressed animosity toward the Jews is escalating. Towards the end of April 2025, a British journalist who frequently appeared on the BBC’s Arabic channel commenting on Gaza events, reportedly called for “Jews to be burned ‘as Hitler did.'” The BBC lamely explained that the person was not “a member of staff nor part of the BBC’s reporting team.” Even so, the BBC – Britain’s official broadcaster – has frequently allowed pro-Palestinian content and, by implication, anti-Jewish sentiment to be promoted.

Man jailed for 222 ‘bogus returns’ at N.B. Staples after asking for house arrest to avoid deportation

An Indonesian computer expert who processed 222 “bogus returns” at the New Brunswick Staples where he worked to get store gift cards that he exchanged for pre-paid, untraceable credit cards has been sentenced to 15 months behind bars, despite his lawyer’s argument that more than six months in jail will get him deported.

Soegiono Liem Swie, who has permanent resident status in Canada, raked in between $89,732 and $93,338 as a result of his “repeated acts of dishonesty,” according to a Fredericton provincial court judge.

WTF? Let’s make him a non-bogus return. h/t DS
