States Are Using This Absurd Metric to Hand Out Aid Based on Race

In 2021, states had to choose how to distribute a scarce number of Covid-19 vaccines. One approach was to do so based on individuals’ risk of death from the virus. Another was to do so geographically, based on “equity.” More than two dozen states did this, using something called the Social Vulnerability Index (SVI)—a race-based formula created by the federal government.

The index, originating with the Centers for Disease Control in 2011, supposedly measures each county’s likelihood of suffering adverse consequences from natural disasters or other emergencies. In theory, the SVI allows relief workers effectively to triage scarce resources. In practice, it enables federal agencies and state governments to justify denying aid to neighborhoods because of race.

Iranian Regime’s Trojan Horse “Civilian Use” Lie on Nuclear Weapons

For more than two decades, the Iranian regime has played a dangerous and calculated game of deception with the West by skillfully masking its nuclear ambitions under the pretense of “civilian use.” This is not a new tactic — it’s a time-tested playbook used by rogue regimes to buy time, mislead international watchdogs, and continue marching in the shadows toward nuclear weapons and the missiles to them.

Tehran has manipulated global diplomacy by leveraging Western naivety and its obsession with appeasement and the search for “peace” to keep all the core elements of its nuclear program intact.

Maga says Pope Leo may be American, but he’s not ‘America first’

Catholicism has rarely been more prominent in US politics as the Trump administration openly embraces advisers and officials who proudly say faith has shaped their views.

But any jubilation on the American Make America Great Again right about the new Pope this week quickly dissipated as key voices from Donald Trump’s Maga movement came to a disappointed conclusion: the first American Pope does not appear to be “America first”.

Little is known about the political leanings of Pope Leo XIV, born Robert Francis Prevost in Chicago.
