Would the Left Finally Explain the Inexplicable?

The left broke norms, erased borders, and weaponized justice—not to govern, but to crush Trump and cling to power by any means necessary.

Somewhere between 10 and 12 million illegal aliens were invited into the United States by the Biden administration.

As far as logistics go, Biden could not flee Afghanistan without getting 13 Marines killed and abandoning to the terrorist Taliban $50 billion in munitions, a billion-dollar embassy, and a $300 million retrofitted huge airbase.

But Biden and his handlers proved far more logistically capable when their target was fellow Americans.

The Fate of America’s Plutocrats

In what can only be described as the most astonishing turn of events in American political history, the Democrat party over the past twenty years has evolved into a previously unimagined alliance of super-rich plutocrats and their two-century-old mortal enemy, the far-left or Marxists.

Many years ago, while participating in a voter registration drive, I came upon a grizzled and disheveled old man sitting in the overgrown and weed-infested yard of his paint-starved house calmly smoking his pipe. Despite his gruff demeanor, Ully (Ulysses) was very pleasant and loquacious as we talked for over an hour on topics ranging from the weather to the innate foibles of mankind.

Report warns that making nice with Trump is auto sector’s only hope

Despite campaign promises by Prime Minister Mark Carney that Canada can dodge U.S. tariffs with an “all in Canada” auto sector, a new C.D. Howe Institute report claims that the only realistic future for Canadian auto manufacturing is to make nice with the Americans.

“To maintain our manufacturing base, Canada must either exponentially expand its share of the domestic market or achieve healthy sales across the larger North American market,” reads the new report written by Stephen Beatty, the recently retired corporate secretary of Toyota Canada.

I am not hopeful.

Greta Thunberg’s moral siege of Israel

Why isn’t Greta Thunberg sailing an aid ship to Sudan? Things are dire there. Two years of war have given rise to ‘catastrophic hunger levels’. The horrors dwarf ‘those in Ukraine, Gaza and Somalia combined’, reports Deutsche Welle. And yet the benighted Sudanese have failed to win the favour of the world’s best known eco-brat. Her boat is destined not for Africa but for the only strip of land that matters to the virtuous of the West: Gaza.

The Statue Of The Random Black Woman In Times Square Is Leftist Cultural Warfare

The cultural parasites of the left have struck again. This time, they have erected a bronze statue of a 12-foot-tall anonymous overweight black woman in New York City’s Times Square, where it will stand for the next month.

Matt Walsh asked on X whether it was a particular person “or just a statue of a random black woman for no apparent reason?”

Leo XIV: surprise for traditional Catholics… and not a pleasant one

On May 6th, LifeSite News published an op-ed piece headlined “Could Cardinal Prevost be the first American pope?” The subhead is: “Seemingly out of nowhere, Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost is being discussed as a serious candidate in the upcoming conclave.”

The author concludes a long list of problems evident from the prelate’s past actions and pronouncements as follows: The question is whether he professes the faith whole and entire, in public and without compromise. If the answer is not a clear “Yes,” then the conclusion is clear: he cannot be validly elected or accepted as pope.

Thanks to Walt for bringing this to our attention.

What’s the point of VE Day? Those who remember will soon be gone

Though the Second World War was never fought on British land, only in the skies overhead, the country’s fabric is marked by the conflict in innumerable ways. Near my home is a stretch of woodland I often run through with the dog. In 1945, an Allied plane crashed among its trees, killing several of the men on board. To this day, local legend has it that visitors to the crash site will hear voices or coughing, or smell smoke.

But for how much longer will we remember those ghosts? This week marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day — the moment the war ended in Europe. The youngest surviving veterans are now at least 98. And of the millions of British people who served in the war, only tens of thousands remain: perhaps 0.01% of Britain’s total population.

HURTY WORDS! Ottawa spends $68K on study asking CBC reporters about political insults

The Department of Canadian Heritage spent $68,640 on a University of British Columbia study that asked Canadian journalists — many of them from CBC — about facing hurtful accusations from conservative politicians and partisan media, Access To Information records reveal.

Blacklock’s Reporter says the study surveyed 95 unnamed journalists across the country, with 41% reportedly working for public outlets like the CBC.

Trump fixates on US-Canada border – does he actually want to tear it up?

A

When Canada’s prime minister, Mark Carney, met with Donald Trump at the White House this week, the notoriously over-prepared former central banker was no doubt expecting to discuss tariffs, trade and defence policy.

But as he sat beside the president, he was instead treated to a discourse on one of Trump’s more recondite fixations: the centuries-old border between Canada and the United States.

“Somebody drew that line many years ago with, like, a ruler – just a straight line right across the top of the country,” he told Carney and the mass of assembled reporters.

How China helped Pakistan shoot down Indian fighter jets

China PL-15 Missile

The apparent involvement of Chinese aircraft in shooting down a Western-made Rafale has ricocheted through defence circles

At 4am on Wednesday, China’s ambassador to Pakistan hurried to the foreign ministry to celebrate an unprecedented military success.

Pakistan had reportedly shot down several Indian aircraft in the hours before using Chinese J-10C fighter jets.

“Our jet fighters… shot down three Indian Rafales, three Rafales [that] are French,” Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s foreign minister, told parliament on Wednesday. “Ours were J-10C.”

Carney in Washington: A Test of Leadership, Failed

Washington—It was supposed to be Mark Carney’s big moment. His first trip to Washington as Prime Minister, the Davos man turned national leader standing toe-to-toe with Donald Trump in the Oval Office. He arrived with a polished script, prepped talking points, and just enough smugness to pass for leadership. But by the time he walked out, it was clear who held the cards—and it wasn’t the man from Ottawa.

This pilot is honoured every year in a U.K. town. Will Canada recognize his bravery?

There is a street named after him in a British town.

A plaque at the local hospital tells the story of how the 29-year-old pilot saved many lives while sacrificing his own during the Second World War.

There are even talks of building a statue of Darlington’s “Gallant Airman” to honour his life and death.

But William Stuart McMullen, a Canadian pilot officer from Ontario, is little known in his own country.

Nope. Not today’s “Canada”.
