Is it any wonder young people won’t fight for Britain?

President Trump has repeatedly threatened to withdraw the US from Nato. At home, Starmer refuses to say when the government’s military funding plan will be published, let alone how much additional money will reach our armed forces. Britain’s weakened national defence could just about scrape through times of peace, but in a period of global instability, alarm bells are sounding.

Conjuring up extra defence spending will be no mean feat. But restoring Britain’s military might, or even scraping together a dad’s army band of have-a-go heroes, requires more than just money. While civil servants battle over budgets, there’s a more existential question that few are willing to ask. Who, exactly, is prepared to fight for Britain today?

The ‘gravy plane’ mess has sent a message: Doug Ford should retire

The ‘gravy plane’ mess has sent a message: Doug Ford should retire

The “gravy plane” mess lasted only a few days. But it sent a message. If Doug Ford hears that message, the Ontario Premier will soon retire.

The public learned last week that the provincial government had acquired a preowned Bombardier Challenger 650 jet aircraft. On Sunday, in the wake of opposition howls, the Premier announced the government would sell the jet. “I have heard and agree that now is not the right time for the expense of a government plane,” he declared.

LeBlanc accuses U.S. of weaponizing dependency, says feds want CUSMA to stay intact

OTTAWA – Despite accusing the United States of weaponizing the deep integration of its economy with Canada’s, Dominic LeBlanc says he “absolutely” wants the trilateral trade deal including Mexico to remain intact.

“We’ve become overly dependent on one trading partner who has turned around, as the prime minister has also said, and weaponized that very dependency or integration against us,” the Canada-U.S. trade minister said in an interview on CTV Power Play with Vassy Kapelos on Tuesday.

Europe’s Jew-Hate with a Vengeance

Europe’s Jew-Hate with a Vengeance

On October 7, 2023, the moral corruption of Western politicians, journalists, radical feminists, and social commentators was exposed in all its fullness. On that morning, thousands of Hamas’s jihadists invaded Israel and murdered some 1,200 people and wounded thousands more, with many victims being raped or tortured. Defenseless civilians were slaughtered, including elderly men and women, and babies in their cribs. Hamas terrorists kidnapped 251 others and dragged them to Gaza’s terror tunnels as hostages; 85 of them did not survive.

Sunny Hostin: ‘I Have Psychic Abilities,’ Blames Patel for Missing Guthrie

Someone should really review all the federal cases that had Sunny Hostin’s fingerprints on them. During Monday’s The View, the former federal prosecutor asserted, “I believe I have psychic abilities” and that her grandmother had told her she had “the gift.” Apparently, she wasn’t sharing her “gift” with those who needed it because she and co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin huffed about how Nancy’s Guthrie was still missing and directly blamed FBI Director Kash Patel for it.

LILLEY: Mark Carney — The unreliable boyfriend Canada can’t afford

When Mark Carney was the Governor of the Bank of England, he earned the nickname the unreliable boyfriend. He earned the nickname for his habit of giving off mixed signals on interest rates — hot one day and cold the next.

The unreliable boyfriend fits when it comes to Carney and his inability to have a coherent message on Canada’s relationship with the United States.

Poilievre says Carney has been ‘losing, losing, losing’ on U.S. trade war

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre launched a pointed attack on the Liberal government’s handling of the Canada-U.S. file Tuesday, saying the results so far have fallen well short of the mark and the prime minister is “losing” the trade war.

Speaking to reporters after Prime Minister Mark Carney unveiled his new trade advisory council to help with the U.S. dispute — a body that includes some big-name Conservatives — Poilievre lashed out, saying the Liberals ran on settling the issue at the last election but there has been no discernible progress to this point.

SPLC Funded ‘Unite the Right’ Rally That Spawned ‘Fine People’ Hoax

Everything the average Democrat believes about America and Republicans is based on a series of hoaxes.

The most obvious case, of course, was the Steele Dossier, upon which the decade-long hate campaign against Donald Trump has been based, along with every accusation that he is a tool of Russia.

The same may be said of the Elbow people.

Ilhan Omar Mocked for $30 Million ‘Accounting Error’

She’s at it again.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) is once again claiming she isn’t a multimillionaire, but this time she’s blaming her accountants. Omar, a charter member of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D., N.Y.) far-left “Squad,” now says the accountants misled her into overstating her net worth by close to $30 million and understating her income by as much as $1 million in the financial disclosure she submitted last year.
