KLEIN: Mark Carney is hiding his globalist agenda: Canadians should be worried

Mark Carney wants you to believe he’s the leader Canada needs right now. He often is heard saying, “It’s Time to Build.”

Build what, Mr. Carney?

That’s the question Canadians need to be asking. Because if you dig beneath the surface of his polished speeches and scripted photo ops, it’s clear what Carney really plans to build: a future where your freedoms shrink, your costs go up, and unelected elites call the shots.

Joe Rogan would ‘rather go to Russia’ than work at UFC event in Canada

Joe Rogan has said he will not be working at UFC 315 in May, as he would “rather go to Russia” than Canada, where the event will play out.

UFC 315 is scheduled for 10 May at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, and given the fight card’s status as a pay-per-view event, many fans expected Rogan to be on commentary duties for the UFC.

Mark Carney is offering voters the other guy’s ideas, without the other guy

If the last near-decade has proven any adage true, it’s that the Liberals are terrible at governing, but exceptional at campaigning. Campaigns are when you get to announce things; governance is when you’re supposed to follow through. Unfortunately for Canada, the Trudeau Liberals conflated the former with the latter, behaving as if announcing a plan – a framework for a plan, a timeline for a framework for a plan – constituted actual action on a promise. But when the time came to ask Canadians for their support, the Liberals managed to gloss over their failings by promoting a message that worked: Andrew Scheer is a shadowy social conservative; Erin O’Toole is a flip-flopper who would kowtow to anti-vaxxers; and now, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre can’t be trusted to stand up to U.S. President Donald Trump.

Parents attack CBeebies show over gender-neutral racoon

Transvestite Racoon

Parents have attacked a CBeebies show for featuring a gender-neutral racoon.

In the episode of Hey Duggee, an award-winning show, which is aimed at five-year-olds, a racoon called Wren and “their” siblings are introduced.

The gender-neutral language has been criticised as “inappropriate” and “confusing” for children still learning how to speak.

Liberal lead ‘built on toothpicks and very dry sand’ as party’s fortunes tied to perceptions of Carney rather than policy, polls suggest

The first polls conducted since Prime Minister Mark Carney’s election as Liberal leader show voters warming to him, but pollsters say that those flocking to the governing party remain open to voting for other candidates.

“Everything right now is built on toothpicks and very dry sand,” said Darrell Bricker, CEO of Ipsos Global Public Affairs. “It’s not even as if people are looking at the Liberal Party, they’re looking at Mark Carney … the question is whether or not what they’re reading into him, what their expectations about who they feel he is, actually match up with who he ends up being, at least from a political perspective.”

Sinaloa Cartel smuggler at U.S.-Canada border says he’ll “always” find a way to get migrants into the U.S.

On February 1st, President Trump imposed 25% tariffs on nearly all goods imported from Canada. Since then, his administration has engaged in an on again off again trade war with our longtime ally. The tariffs were imposed based on the exaggerated claim that millions of criminals and tons of deadly fentanyl have been pouring over the border into the United States— and that Canada has allowed it to happen.

Last month we went to the northern border, to the Chazy River, where even in the middle of winter, migrants continue to cross its frozen banks, often guided by human smugglers who openly advertise their services on Facebook and TikTok.

CSIS alleges India organized support for Poilievre’s 2022 Conservative leadership bid

Agents of India and their proxies allegedly meddled in the 2022 election of Pierre Poilievre as Conservative Party Leader as part of a larger effort to cozy up to politicians of all parties, according to a source with top-secret clearance.

The source said the Canadian Security Intelligence Service learned that Indian agents were involved in raising money and organizing within the South Asian community for Mr. Poilievre during the leadership race, which he won handily. But the CSIS assessment did not indicate that this effort was done in a sweeping and highly organized way, the source said. Mr. Poilievre won on the first ballot with 68 per cent of the vote.

CSIS also did not have evidence that Mr. Poilievre or members of his inner circle were aware of the alleged actions of India’s agents and their proxies, said the source, who has national security clearance to see top secret reports.

Jennifer Melle filed her legal claim against Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals Trust following its pursuit of her in an October 2024 disciplinary action, resulting in a final written warning and a referral to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). The trust also placed her on restricted duties, resulting in a loss of overtime payments.

Tom Lawson: Dumping the F-35 would hurt Canada far more than the U.S.

Recently, Defence Minister Bill Blair announced that he had been tasked with reviewing the decision to purchase F-35 fighter jets to replace the Royal Canadian Air Force’s aging Hornets. Like all Canadians angry over the Trump administration’s aggressive approach to its closest ally, I would like to see us respond decisively. But any decision that would alter or cancel the contract to purchase a fleet of F-35s would be one that Canadians would rue for decades.

LYTLE: For the Liberals, there are no rules

I raised my children on the cusp of a shift in parenting styles that caused people to sniff at neanderthals like me who took a decidedly “spare the rod, spoil the child” approach to discipline.

Fortunately I was aware that giving my kids a swat on the bum in a public place was not going to fly with the increasing number of hall monitors who prowled the malls. To get around them, I devised a carefully cloaked methodology that resulted in my kid’s compliance with my wishes. My technique shall remain a secret.
