Another Sneaky Little Secret About the FBI

FBI director nominee Kash Patel has often joked that on day one in office he would shut down FBI Headquarters and reopen it the next day as a Museum of the Deep State. Rueful joke aside, he may not know how close to the truth he really is. The FBI has a sneaky little secret that has probably escaped the attention of its most ardent fans at DOJ. It’s even possible that the cloistered and suited gangsters on the 7th Floor don’t even know how easy it could be to topple the entire enterprise.

Indian Money Dance

An expert committee formed to help Indigenous communities find unmarked graves at former residential schools in Canada says the federal government has discontinued its funding.

“It’s a betrayal,” said founding member Crystal Gail Fraser, who is Gwich’in and grew up in Inuvik, N.W.T. “We are losing sight of our values around truth and reconciliation.”

The committee will be forced to cease operations when its current funding agreement expires on March 31, Fraser said.

Why a former CSIS official says the U.S. is positioned for ‘another 9/11’

A former Canadian intelligence official is warning recent cuts by the new U.S. administration to its intelligence agencies could position the country for “another 9/11.”

Dan Stanton, a former executive manager for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), said in an interview with The West Block’s Mercedes Stephenson that cuts are “degrading the efficiency” of the U.S. intelligence community, which could have a much bigger impact than just America’s borders.

The Deep State had such a surplus of staff that 5000 FBI agents were assigned to hunt down the Jan 6 protesters.

How many others across the multiple US intelligence services were hard at work on undermining President Trump?

The borders were wide open under President Dementia’s tenure.

The barbarians are not only inside the gates they occupied the White House the last 4 years.

Emergency Meeting in Europe Underway as Alarm Spreads Over Prospect of a Deal on Ukraine Between Trump and Putin

Alarmed that a Trump-Putin deal could be cut without input from Europe or Ukraine, President Macron is gathering today leaders of Europe’s largest nations for an emergency meeting at Paris. Their parley will coincide with the arrival of President Trump’s negotiating team in Saudi Arabia to jump-start talks with their Russian counterparts ahead of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, starting in ten days.

To build on these preliminary talks, President Trump predicted to reporters yesterday that he could meet “very soon” with President Putin. The goals of the parley at Paris include forging a common negotiating position on Ukraine, selecting a European envoy to participate in peace talks, advancing a military aid package for Ukraine, and rethinking European defense in the event that, after 75 years, Washington goes wobbly.

Mark Carney is changing the game for Pierre Poilievre, and maybe Donald Trump, too

If Mark Carney is the next prime minister who has to deal with Donald Trump, the U.S. president may need to change up his game on the insults he’s been tossing in Canada’s direction.

Calling Carney “governor” won’t exactly have the same sting, given that the man increasingly seen as the front-running Liberal leadership contender has actually been a governor of two national banks — Canada and the Bank of England.

A Jamaican drug dealer avoided deportation after he promised to only smoke cannabis and not sell it.

Jamaican Shawn Rickford McLeod, 40, who came to Britain in 2000 was issued with a deportation order after being jailed for three years and four months for three counts of supplying class A drugs.

He appealed the order on the grounds that it would breach his rights to a family life under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) as he had three young children in the UK with his wife.

How Donald Trump, tariffs and the Liberal leadership are erasing Ontario’s election — and playing right into Doug Ford’s hands

Ontario voters clueing in to the fact they are in the middle of a quick, unexpected election could be forgiven for thinking their choices on the Feb. 27 provincial ballot will be Donald Trump, tariffs or Mark Carney.

Political observers and some door-knocking candidates say that international and national headlines blasting Ontarians like a fire hose, stoking dire financial fears and debate over who best to lead Canada, are almost erasing the provincial election — likely to the benefit of the Progressive Conservatives.

Tom Hanks roasted over ‘disgusting’ portrayal of Trump supporter at ‘SNL’ 50th anniversary special

America’s sweetheart Tom Hanks was crucified by conservatives over his “disgusting” portrayal of a simple, Trump-supporting racist on the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary special.

The two-time Academy Award winner returned to the stage Sunday night as “Doug” — a dumb, MAGA hat-wearing contestant on the recurring bit “Black Jeopardy,” where the butt of the joke is Hanks’ character and the black contestants discovering their similarities.
