Trump Is Dismantling Xi’s ‘China Dream’ One Piece At A Time

We are barely into March 2026, yet President Donald Trump’s bold foreign policy has already delivered a series of body blows to Xi Jinping’s grand vision for China’s global dominance.

Since assuming power in 2012, Xi has promoted the “China Dream” — a nationalist narrative of national rejuvenation that envisions China supplanting the United States as the world’s preeminent superpower. Central to this is his conviction that the “East is rising and the West is declining,” a belief that has shaped over a decade of CCP propaganda, military buildup, and assertive diplomacy. Xi discarded Deng Xiaoping’s prudent “hide your strength, bide your time” approach in favor of an assertive foreign policy posture, such as militarizing the South China Sea, coercing neighbors like the Philippines and Vietnam, and expanding arms exports to build influence in the Global South.

LILLEY: With NDP floor crosser, Carney effectively has a majority now

Mark Carney moved one step closer to a majority government overnight as another MP crossed the floor to join the Liberals. This time it was a New Democrat, not a Conservative, who decided to join as Nunavut MP Lori Idlout changed teams.

British PM to Muslims: “You Are Modern Britain”

It’s the country of Magna Carta and the great English liberties. It gave us the Mother of Parliaments and established the largest and most benign empire the world has ever seen. It held out alone against the Nazis, under an inspiring leader who vowed that “we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.” And after the war it became America’s partner in a Special Relationship that ultimately brought down the Soviet Union.

But now? To quote John of Gaunt’s speech in Richard II, “That England that was wont to conquer others / Hath made a shameful conquest of itself.”

Is John Cleese turning… based?

Anyone who has stumbled on John Cleese’s X feed lately will have been in for a bit of a surprise. Where most A-listers use social media to witter on about ‘trans kids’, ICE or the latest cause célèbre, the Monty Python star has blazed an altogether different trail. Broadcasting to his 4.9million followers on X, Cleese has slammed Islamic sectarianism, blasted woke censorship and even quote tweeted a recent piece from spiked. Whisper it, but could Cleese be the ‘based’ national treasure Britain needs right now?

Germany: After girl gang raped, Berlin youth center accused of cover-up because they did not want suspects to be labeled as ‘typical Muslims’

A Turkish-Kurdish schoolgirl is said to have been groped by nine boys of Arab descent in the back room of a Berlin youth center in Gropiusstadt, Neukölln. It then came out that she was raped in November, in the youth center garden. A scandal has erupted after it was reported that the youth center staff did not file a police report, reportedly out of fear that the suspects would be labeled as the “typical Muslims.”

MPs vote to halt debate on anti-hate bill in committee to end Conservative filibuster

MPs voted on Tuesday evening to halt debate on the Liberals’ anti-hate bill in a committee, ending a prolonged Conservative filibuster to protest removing a religious exemption to some hate speech laws.

The MPs voted to approve a motion tabled by Government House Leader Steven MacKinnon to end the Conservative filibuster that has held up Bill C-9 for months.

The motion will mean that the justice committee, where the anti-hate bill is being discussed, moves straight to vote on amendments and sub-amendments rather than discussing them further.

Is the Twelfth Imam Already Among Us?

The Shi’ite branch of Islam, which has flourished as the official religion of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the various ayatollahs for the last half century, believes in the return of the so-called Twelfth Imam, who is descended from Mohammed’s son-in-law Ali ibn Abni Talib. Talib was the fourth caliph assassinated in 661 in a succession war, after which the split between Sunnis and Shi’ites eventually became permanent. According to the traditions of Twelver Shi’ism, the twelfth of these Imams, a boy of five years old, disappeared under mysterious and disputed circumstances in the year 874 – but remained alive. Though communicating with the world through various agents, he entered the state of “occultation” in 941, promising to return when the time would be propitious.

Larry Maher: Canadian Jews are angry. It’s a start

We have been painted as ‘white oppressors’ with our own history of persecution erased

” …The need to constantly define and negotiate with others about racism, religious hatred, and cultural intolerance demonstrates how lost society has become. The Jewish community believed that if we spoke in the language of progressives and their ideology of DEI, we would be accepted as a minority that deserves a spot at the table. Instead, we have been painted as “white oppressors” with our own history of persecution erased.”

He doesn’t condemn the racist foundation of DEI and call for it to be dismantled. Instead he expresses disappointment that Jews were painted as White oppressors under DEI despite efforts to be accepted as official members of the racist club that claims the right to perpetually condemn White people as evil just for the colour of their skin.

Doesn’t that imply he’s fine with DEI’s ongoing hatred of White people and would be doubly so had only his team won a seat at the table?

That’s some blind spot … at the table.

CBC refuses to release alleged blacklist as former host tells MPs about banned interview guests

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is refusing to release an internal document that allegedly outlines which public figures its journalists are discouraged from interviewing, even after a former host told MPs the network maintained a blacklist of dozens of names.

During testimony before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage, former CBC-TV host Travis Dhanraj said newsroom staff relied on an internal guide titled Parameters For Political Guests that restricted who could appear on certain programs.

Could Iranian Terror Strike the U.S.?

Though the regime’s capabilities to conduct mayhem seem diminished, its efforts persist.

In Tehran back in the spring of 1992, I interviewed Ali Akbar Mohtashami, the hardline cleric who cofounded Hezbollah in Lebanon and helped carry out the devastating suicide car-bomb attacks in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. Marines in 1983. I recalled his pride in Iran’s attacks and his vow to continue them until Israel was destroyed, its Jews “sent back to the countries they came from,” and Iran had built its own nuclear bombs. As long as Israel existed and there were revolutionaries in Tehran, he told me, there would be “no Americans in Iran and no peace with America.”

Though Mohtashami died of Covid-19 in 2021, I will never forget his determination, and that of other senior Iranians I interviewed on my trips to Iran, to destroy Israel and humiliate America.
