Attacks across Europe put Islamist extremism back in spotlight

For months now, authorities charged with keeping Europe safe from Islamist extremist violence have been sounding the alarm. In May, Dutch security services warned that the terrorist threat from Islamic State to Europe had increased. The same month, the French interior minister said the risk of Islamist terrorism was rising again and that his own country was being targeted, as well as its neighbours.

In recent days, these pessimistic forecasts appear to have been vindicated. France is deploying 7,000 extra troops on to its streets after a teacher was fatally stabbed on Friday in an attack that Emmanuel Macron condemned as “barbaric Islamic terrorism”. The suspected attacker swore an oath of allegiance to IS in an audio recording on his phone shortly before the killing, prosecutors have said.

Conservatives call return of ISIS wifey ‘unacceptable’

ISIS whore Dure Ahmed – back in Canada

The Conservatives say it’s “unacceptable” that the federal government allowed a Canadian woman with ties to ISIS to re-enter the country.

CBC News reported Tuesday new details about the identity of a 33-year-old woman the government repatriated with her children in April from a detention camp in northeastern Syria.

Dure Ahmed, who is now living in the Toronto area under conditions, was married to El Shafee Elsheikh. He’s a high-profile ISIS militant who was part of a cell known as “the Beatles” because of their British accents.

Elsheikh is the highest ranking ISIS member to be tried in the U.S. He’s serving multiple life sentences in a supermax prison for his role in the deaths of eight American, British and Japanese hostages.

City Bylaws Increasingly Used to Prohibit ‘Offending’ People in Canada

Measures with the stated purpose of preventing discrimination are increasing in cities across Canada, but some say they put undue restrictions on free expression.

Waterloo, Ontario, added a section to one of its bylaws this month to ban speech on public property that makes others “feel harassed.” Calgary has a similar bylaw against causing “offence or humiliation” anywhere in public.

In recent years, Edmonton and London, Ontario, have also passed such bylaws.

LISTEN: IDF shares classified audio of Hamas terrorists discussing Gaza hospital blast

Gaza Hospital missile hit car park

The IDF shared on Wednesday morning an audio transcript of Hamas terrorists discussing the rocket attack by the Islamic Jihad that hit a hospital in Gaza the night before.

In the audio, the Hamas terrorists acknowledge that the shrapnel of the missile “are local pieces, and not Israeli shrapnel.”

Well this looks mighty odd …

MI5 chief warns of Iran-backed terror attacks in the UK

The head of MI5 has raised the spectre of Iranian-backed terror attacks in the UK in the wake of the war in Israel.

Ken McCallum, the security service’s director-general, addressed the conflict for the first time while at an unprecedented security summit also attended by intelligence chiefs from the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

He said the “monstrous attacks” on Israel could increase the risk of terror atrocities in the UK and raised concerns about the threat from Iran.

Brussels Terrorist Was Illegal Migrant, Known Islamist

The Tunisian terrorist who shot dead two Swedish football fans in Brussels on Monday night was an illegal migrant flagged as a radical Islamist seven years ago, authorities have confirmed. He gunned down the Swedes, reportedly while shouting “Allahu akbar,” just hours before he was finally due to be vetted by Belgian Federal Police.

Belgian police shot and arrested the gunman Abdesalem Lassoued (45) on Tuesday, October 17th, after a citywide manhunt. The man died in hospital later that morning, RTBF reports.

What a surprise!

Canadian cannabis market struggles five years after legalisation

Canada remains one of the only countries in the world that allows legal and regulated access to recreational marijuana. But five years after the drug’s legalisation, the country’s cannabis industry is struggling for survival.

George Smitherman remembers buying his first legal gram of cannabis in October 2018 from a Tweed shop in Newfoundland.

The cannabis company had made headlines two years prior for signing a marketing deal with US rapper Snoop Dogg, which was hailed at the time as a sign of a new dawn in the marijuana industry.

The shop,Mr Smitherman recalls, was “beautiful”.

This sounds more like an appeal to government to make the Oligopoly even more exclusive. Anything spelled “Smitherman” stinks like shit.

The Woke Code of Morality Was All Nonsense

Progressives’ response to Hamas’s atrocities reveals that they never believed in their own dogma.

It was all stuff and nonsense, wasn’t it? All that talk of “hate speech” and “accountability culture” and “systemic oppression” and the need to ensure that everyone in the community feels “safe” at all times? It was all guff, flotsam, baloney. About 15 minutes passed between the news of the atrocities committed by Hamas and the crumpling of the progressive creed. Rarely has jetsam looked so vile.

Fake News About 6-Year-Old Boy’s Stabbing Inspires Muslim Terrorist Attack in Brussels

Everything is connected.

After the Hamas massacre of Israeli children, the media chose to amplify fake news about a landlord-tenant dispute in Chicago in which the landlord allegedly stabbed a female Muslim tenant and her son. Even though the landlord is an American Polish Catholic who has nothing to do with Jews or Israel, the media, Islamist groups and the Biden White House all blew up the story and tried to connect it to the war in Israel based on, apparently, the mother’s word.

The media run with Hamas propaganda about a bombed hospital

Thanks to support from Iran, Hamas is fairly well-armed and, of course, it makes up in viciousness what it lacks in technical sophistication. However, Hamas’s greatest weapon is propaganda. In the latest conflagration, it engaged in a single orgy of killing. Now, though, it’s looking forward to weeks of anti-Israel propaganda that the world’s media will unhesitatingly accept and relay. The latest example is Hamas’s claim that Israel killed 900 innocent people in a Gaza hospital. The story was almost instantly debunked but don’t expect that to change the narrative.
