Joe Adam George: Bondi Beach terror proves western capitulation only begets more jihadist violence

As Jewish families across Australia gathered for the first night of Hanukkah at Bondi Beach, two ISIS-linked Islamist terrorists turned celebration into carnage, killing 15 innocent people and injuring dozens. Authorities identified the suspects in the deadly shooting as a 50-year-old man and his adult son. Several high-profile accounts on X claimed that the duo were of Pakistani-origin.

Ilhan Omar’s chilling ties to ‘The Butcher of Hargeisa’… and the buried secrets that prove she’s LIED to America

Democratic congresswoman Ilhan Omar has built her political brand on a familiar story: the refugee girl who fled war, embraced America and rose to the halls of power championing universal healthcare, immigrant rights and progressive causes.

But new photos, archival material and historical accounts from her native Somalia obtained by the Daily Mail paint a far more complicated – and troubling – portrait of the Minnesota lawmaker’s backstory.

The material includes images linking Omar and her relatives to some of the most feared figures in Somalia’s modern history, including Major General Mohammed Said Hersi Morgan — the man known as the ‘Butcher of Hargeisa’ for atrocities committed in the late 1980s.

Police malpractice in shootings

This weekend proved Flavor Flav was right. His posse, Public Enemy, released a song 35 years ago, 911 Is a Joke.

So get up, get, get, get down
911 is a joke in yo town

911 isn’t a joke of course. I’ve seen it in action on a personal basis. I like cops too.

Police policy is the problem. Politicians have hamstrung the police. And the joke is killing innocents.

No offence but you cannot rely on the police for protection.

You can contribute to TPS’ great record solving murder cases. Of course that means you died because they couldn’t help you.

No guns means we are mere collateral damage so the pols can virtue signal about the need for more and better gun control.

Trump on Reiner

Trump blames Rob Reiner’s death on ‘incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome’

I really don’t care what the faint of heart have to say.

Poilievre says Carney’s Liberals are ‘counterfeit’ Conservatives

OTTAWA – Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government is practising “counterfeit Conservatism.”

Poilievre says while Carney likes to copy his ideas — ending the consumer carbon price, for example — his government won’t do what it says it will.

Carney is widely seen to be moving the Liberals to the political centre after years of more centre-left policies under former prime minister Justin Trudeau.

FBI stops planned New Year’s Eve Los Angeles terror attack by pro-Palestinian cell

WASHINGTON — The FBI arrested five members of a far-left, pro-Palestinian extremist group on Friday in connection with an alleged plot to carry out coordinated bombings in and around Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.

The “credible, imminent terrorist threat” to five unidentified companies’ logistics centers in Los Angeles came from radical members of an offshoot of the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF), FBI Director Kash Patel and other law enforcement officials revealed Monday.

Michael Higgins: This is what the Islamists in our streets want

The horror of Bondi Beach could just as easily happen in Canada — because the conditions are the same: we have allowed antisemitism to grow unchecked and infect our society.

Jews in Canada were already living in a climate of fear, now Hanukkah celebrations will be overshadowed by terror.

Any place there are Muslims there will exist the possibility of mass murder, it’s hard wired into their cult beliefs.

Every government since 911 has aided and abetted their settlement in Canada.

I asked AI to scan thousands of Barry and Honey Sherman murder case documents. Here’s what it told me I missed

It was my first personal experience with an Artificial Intelligence “hallucination” — the tendency of AI to just make things up.
When a Toronto homicide detective probing the unsolved murders of Toronto billionaires Barry and Honey Sherman revealed he had turned to AI for help, I figured, heck, I should try too.

I uploaded almost 4,000 pages of partially unsealed police documents, containing witness statements and police theories. On some pages, you can read everything police wrote to obtain various search warrants in the now eight-year-old case. Some pages are partially or completely blacked out. The Toronto Star’s court challenges over the past eight years have unsealed roughly 60 per cent of these documents.

Does Poverty Cause Crime?

One might expect researchers to have settled the question long ago of whether poverty causes crime. On the surface, the answer seems obvious. A correlation certainly exists: anyone working in the criminal-justice system—or simply walking through a low-income neighborhood—could observe that the poor are more prone to crime. But is the relationship causal? As the old Gershwin tune reminds us, it ain’t necessarily so.

We were poor by the day’s standards lower working class, K was raised by her single Mum. None of us imprisoned. So far.

Donald Trump’s Civilizational Defense Strategy

If the just-published “National Security Strategy of the United States of America” was intended to infuriate the old line globalist elites in Europe and the United States, then it has succeeded beyond the wildest dreams of its authors. Take, for example, the essay this morning by Jacob Heilbrunn over at that “other” Spectator. Heilbrunn manages the not inconsiderable feat of dismissing the document as “incomprehensible” and “negligible,” while at the same time suggesting that it’s important enough to cause our key allies consternation and dismay.

How did Canada’s young people become its unhappiest generation?

Only four countries have seen a worse decline — Jordan, Venezuela, Lebanon and Afghanistan.

VANCOUVER — As a teen growing up in Toronto, Bhavik Sharma imagined what life would look like at 25.

He and his high school friends would be starting families. They’d be on six-figure salaries and living comfortably.

Now 27, he’s back living with his parents in Kitchener, Ont., driven out of Toronto by high rent and other costs.

“I think back then, in that generation, it was definitely a lot easier,” Sharma said of the path to adulthood for his parents, who moved to Canada from India about 30 years ago.

They’d probably be happier if you interviewed Canadians and not foreigners for this article.

Funny how mass immigration isn’t mentioned as if a generation’s problems appeared from nowhere.

I have faith young people are smart enough to recognize gaslighting. AKA Liberal Party Media/Academic propaganda.

Gaza: Can ‘Peacekeepers’ and ‘Monitors’ Succeed Except in Wishful Thinking?

Hamas beats Gazans

As part of US President Donald J. Trump’s plan for ending the Israel-Hamas war, international troops could be deployed in the Gaza Strip as early as next month, US officials told Reuters on December 12. According to the unnamed officials, the proposed International Stabilization Force (ISF) would not fight Hamas, the Palestinian terror group that sparked the war by invading Israel on October 7, 2023 and murdering more than 1,200 Israelis and foreign nationals and wounding thousands more.

Canada should craft its own national-security policy

Find PA Cat’s Dad

The new national-security strategy issued by the Trump administration has caused shock waves among the United States’ allies.

It contains a retreat by the United States from global leadership and an abandonment of any principled foreign policy. It fails to address threats posed by authoritarian regimes and castigates Europe as a continent in decline, which needs U.S.-style political change. It shows signs of weakening NATO commitments, lacks support for Ukraine and emphasizes U.S. dominance of the Western hemisphere. The Trump strategy presents an explosive mix of policies that give new substance to an unprecedented version of the doctrine of “America first.”

Apparently America is obligated to pick up the tab for everybody forever, 80 years wasn’t enough.
