How author Michael Wolff acted as adviser to Epstein on Trump

Michael Wolff – Sleazebag

Newly released emails reveal the Fire and Fury author advised the paedophile on using his connection to Trump for ‘PR and political currency’ in 2016

The Jeffrey Epstein emails released this week have exposed how the author Michael Wolff advised the late sex offender on how to deal with Donald Trump while he was running for president.

Wolff spent time interviewing the two men as part of research for his unauthorised biography Fire and Fury, a bestseller that exposed claims of dysfunction at the heart of the White House during Trump’s first term.

Boy testifies about adoptive moms’ bizarre rules as Ontario murder trial sees haunting video of his brother — zip-tied into a wetsuit and helmet

Becky Hamber, Brandy Cooney Killer Moms

A 13-year-old boy was forced to relive disturbing memories from the five years he and his brother spent inside a tightly controlled and turbulent Burlington household, where surveillance cameras watched their every move and daily life was governed by his adoptive parents’ strict rules and bizarre practices.

Among them: A “restraint system” including being zip-tied into a tent to sleep; days with no talking; and the punishment — captured on video and played for the boy in court on Thursday — of being forced to meekly pace up and down a flight of stairs.

Birmingham is a failing city – and a worrying harbinger of Britain’s future

Birmingham England

The nation must start paying proper attention to the tragic disintegration of Birmingham. There was a time when the city’s canals promised to make it a Venice of the North. It was the engine room of the UK, a town of a thousand trades producing everything from guns to buttons.

Even as industry began to crumble, it showed promise to pivot into a cradle of innovation. Not only was it the birthplace of heavy metal and the Odeon cinema chain, it was also once the crucible for creative giants, from J R R Tolkien to Robert Plant.

Today it is the poster child for national decline. The mention of the city evokes images of striking binmen, rats as big as cats, “no-go” Islamic enclaves, “slum” neighbourhoods and a stillborn city centre strangled by a ring road. The city is a cautionary tale in the perils of Left-wing complacency and the follies of progressive utopianism – one the nation must heed to move forward.

GALBRAITH: Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives don’t need new leader, just Valium

Yesterday, Pierre Poilievre held his first media availability since the floor crossing that had politicos (and many Canadians) picking their jaws up off the floor. He stood at the mic with a few of his MPs, hit his talking points and dodged answering questions about how he plans to hold his caucus together.

The Slow Death of the German Christmas Market

Is the Weihnachtsmarkt dying out? Magdeburg, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt, is the latest German city to cancel its Christmas market over security concerns. Last December, a Saudi psychiatrist and refugee named Taleb al-Abdulmohsen drove his car into crowds during the city’s festivities, killing six people. This year, there are fears that such an attack could be repeated and that the proper protections would not be in place.

Quebec men accused in alleged extremist plot will go to trial following federal indictment

Three men accused of facilitating terrorism in Quebec will be sent to trial after the federal Crown prosecutor’s office filed a direct indictment on Nov. 7, along with new charges.

The move effectively bypasses a preliminary inquiry requested by the men’s lawyers in September.

Filed with authorization of the attorney general of Canada or deputy attorney general, the indictment means the case will now be sent to Superior Court, where a trial could take place in 2026.

In July, the RCMP charged four men, including two active members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), with being part of an alleged anti-government plot to forcibly take over land in the Quebec City region

4 are charged, how many RCMP are in the above pic?

JOHNSON: Majority of asylum seekers in the first half of 2025 were from India, Bill C-12 aims to tighten the process

The data from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) shows that many countries contribute to the total number of asylum seekers arriving in Canada. In the first half (H1) of 2025, India registered the highest number of claims. India is a democracy. It is neither a war zone nor is it facing a humanitarian crisis.

The American Revolution Is About To Experience The ‘Ken Burns Effect’

Given our current political climate and the amplifying — not to mention polarizing — effects of social media, Americans today hear much about what divides us. Perhaps a new documentary miniseries might broaden our horizons and allow families to focus instead on what unites us.

The American Revolution, a six-part miniseries by Ken Burns that airs beginning this Sunday, should remind us that our country’s creation, let alone its survival, was by no means certain. The Revolutionary War was in many ways a civil war, with only part of the American colonists desiring a split from Great Britain, another portion remaining loyal to King George III, and a third group ambivalent, but not necessarily indifferent, waiting to see how it would all play out.

The climate scaremongers: Electric vehicles are a train wreck heading our way

OUR local shopping centre has just installed six new rapid 150 kW EV chargers to replace 50kW chargers.

With strong speculation this week that EVs will face pay-per-mile charges from 2028, these new chargers are a reminder that driving will become not only unpractical but unaffordable for anybody who does not have off-street parking. It is estimated that this is the case for at least 40 per cent of car owners across the UK.

Police say about 75 people commit an inordinate amount of crime in Calgary. Who are they?

It’s a statistic floated around by high-ranking police officers and Calgary’s new mayor — a relatively small number of people committing a whole lot of crime.

Ahead of a Calgary police downtown safety blitz Nov. 5, Supt. Scott Boyd said the police have a “high system user group that’s roughly around 75 individuals … [who] do a disproportionate amount of crime on any given day throughout Calgary.”

During his campaign, then-mayoral candidate Jeromy Farkas used a slightly different number, pledging in his platform to “strengthen community policing with a crackdown on Calgary’s top 100 repeat violent offenders.”

2025: The Year Islamic Terrorism Went Mainstream

Al Qaeda, Hamas and Islamic terrorism have all become politically acceptable.

In 2025, Hamas and Hezbollah flags became regular sights on Ivy League college campuses, a Muslim immigrant who embraced an unindicted coconspirator in bombing plots in New York City became its mayor, presidential envoys chatted with Hamas and an Al Qaeda leader who used to have a $10 million reward on his head visited the White House and met with the president.
