Edmonton police chief says no evidence of racist intent behind the use of tiki torches at legislature rally
Edmonton’s police chief says the department doesn’t have evidence of racist intent behind the use of tiki torches at a February anti-lockdown rally.
Chief Dale McFee told media Tuesday he and the Edmonton Police Service don’t condone tiki torches but said some people didn’t know why they were carrying them at the legislature on Feb. 20. Torches are a symbol often associated with white nationalism and McFee confirmed hate crimes detectives were present.
Tiki Torches = White Supremacy.
White Babies = White Supremacy
The “OK” hand sign = White Supremacy.
All violence = White Supremacy.
The goal?
Disagreeing with a “Liberal” on any matter = White Supremacy.
Get ready.
New definition of hate to be included in Liberal bill that might also revive contentious hate speech law
Federal legislation expected to be tabled within weeks will see a new statutory definition of hate and could also see the reincarnation of a controversial hate speech law.
The new definition, part of legislation aimed at tackling online hate content, will be based on previous court decisions and how the Supreme Court has defined hate, said Arif Virani, parliamentary secretary to Justice Minister David Lametti.
Anyone remember Section 13?
