A government computer specialist fired after an alleged $11 million COVID-19 fraud is suing the province for wrongful dismissal and seeking more than $5 million in damages, the Star has learned.
Shalini Madan was sacked Nov. 23 from her $132,513-a-year management job after her husband, Sanjay Madan, who also worked at Queen’s Park, was terminated in the wake of the alleged embezzlement of pandemic relief payments.
