For the third time over the past week, Ontario is reporting fewer than 4,000 new COVID-19 cases today.
Provincial health officials logged 3,947 new cases of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus today, down from 4,094 on Saturday and 4505 on Friday.
The rolling seven-day average is now 4,017, down from 4,341 one week ago.
WARMINGTON: Two Amazon centres first businesses shut down under new edict to slow COVID spread

BRAMPTON — Gigantic Amazon corporation is the first target of Peel Public Health’s new policy to shut down businesses with more than five COVID-19 cases to control outbreaks.
Using Section 22 powers, Peel Public Health announced at noon that sections of two Amazon Fulfillment Centres have been ordered closed. Calling it “partial” closures these measures affect the Amazon operations at 8050 Heritage Rd. in Brampton and 12724 Coleraine Dr. in Bolton.
