‘We’re not gonna have a split society’: Ontario Premier Doug Ford rules out a provincial ‘vaccine passport’
Ontario Premier Doug Ford said in the strongest terms yet Thursday that the province will not create a vaccine passport that would allow people to signal to businesses and other organizations that they have been vaccinated.
“The answer is no, we’re not gonna do it. We’re not gonna have a split society,” Ford told reporters in response to a question about creating vaccine passports Thursday at the first press conference he has held in some time.

You may be asking, wait, what receipt? It’s understandable if you were so excited after getting your second shot that you forgot to meticulously file away the piece of paper you should have received that confirmed you’re double dosed, along with other personal information and details about the vaccine itself.
Now, with some businesses saying they’ll be asking potential customers to prove their vaccination status for entry, that little piece of paper suddenly seems much more important.
Luckily I found mine in the car the other day.
