The National Post’s recent story on the sudden firing of Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin after 32 years of service in the Canadian military has elements that are very troubling. Not least of which is a sexual misconduct allegation made by one person about an event that allegedly occurred 30-plus years ago and has not been proven in court, but was nonetheless made public and acted on by government and military authorities, thus destroying the man’s reputation.
C’mon Rex, Fortin is a practicing heterosexual, that makes him unfit for the new Rainbow Forces!
