
Carlos Larmond, the Ottawa terror twin jailed in 2015 for trying to leave the country to fight for ISIS, has been released from a Calgary halfway house and is starting over as a newly-married man with his sights on entrepreneurship.
The former Vanier crack dealer’s rapid descent into radicalization was at the urging of his dominant twin brother. He was arrested while boarding a plane for Frankfurt with the hopes of making it to Syria to fight for ISIS. His brother started recruiting the would-be jihadi and others after his own plans to join ISIS were scuttled when his passport was revoked.
