Ontario reports 811 new COVID-19 cases; 3 additional deaths

Ontario reported 811 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday along with three new deaths, as the province’s known active caseload hit its highest point since early June.

Ontario reported 944 new cases on Saturday and 805 on Friday.

At a mobile vaccine clinic at their Thorncliffe Park apartment tower Wednesday, a young couple told community workers they’d been worried about long-term side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine.

But then they heard news reports that it was going to become mandatory to do many things in Ontario. They decided they might as well roll up their sleeves.

Hours before the official announcement, the new provincial vaccine policy had already changed their minds.
