The Arrivecan is a Canadian government phone application that Canadian travelers going through airports and over the border, including truckers, are required to verify their vaccine status with in order to pass.

DARPA Enters Phase 2 of Project Targeting ‘Quantum Advantage’
Rigetti Computing and the Universities Space Research Association or USRA on Thursday confirmed they’re kicking off the second phase of a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency-led effort to develop next-level, quantum computers.
Building on the first phase of the Optimization with Noisy Intermediate Scale Quantum devices program, which launched in 2020, the entities are now pushing DARPA’s ONISQ further—with ultimate aims to demonstrate quantum advantage on intermediate scale quantum computers with hundreds of qubits.
Massive Subsidies Won’t Solve the Semiconductor Supply Chain Crisis
On the same day that the White House kick-started an effort to get Congress to approve billions in new subsidies for American chipmakers, and the Commerce Department published a long-awaited report on the status of semiconductor supply chains, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo put an exclamation point on the whole thing.
“It’s a crisis,” Raimondo told Yahoo Finance. “What we need is to make more chips in America.”
