Ontario confirms 18 more COVID-19 deaths; ICU occupancy continues to decline
Ontario confirmed 1,176 new coronavirus cases today, but health officials warn that could be an underestimate due to testing restrictions.
Among the latest cases, 858 are fully vaccinated, 165 are unvaccinated, 27 are partially vaccinated and 126 have an unknown vaccination status.
All remaining capacity limits, COVID-19 vaccine passport system end in Ontario today
Ontario is ending most of its major COVID-19 public health measures today, though Premier Doug Ford has said mask mandates will likely be in place for at least a couple more weeks.
COVID-19 hospitalizations and test positivity rates have fallen sharply from the January peak of the Omicron wave, though wastewater data suggests cases may be starting to rise again.
PS. I will continue this daily posting until the Mask Mandate is lifted hopefully signifying the end of the ChiCom Flu pandemic
