Ontario confirms 19 more COVID-19 deaths; under 900 hospitalizations
Provincial health officials confirmed 19 more COVID-19 deaths and a drop in both the number of hospitalized patients with the virus and patients in intensive care Thursday.
There are currently 834 people with the virus in Ontario hospitals, down from 847 yesterday and from 1,066 a week ago.
267 people are in ICU with #COVID19. 80% of patients admitted to the ICU were admitted for COVID-19 and 20% were admitted for other reasons but have tested positive for COVID-19.
There are 2,262 new cases of COVID-19.

Local medical officers OK if Ontario drops masking requirements
Don’t expect too much opposition from local medical officers of health when the Ontario government announces that it is lifting masking requirements for indoor settings.
Some of the most cautious local medical officers are signalling that they, too, are OK with lifting masking requirements.
