An attacker who stormed a stage and bundled Dave Chappelle to the ground in front of a shocked audience has been seen with a misshapen arm after the comedian’s security guards pounced on him.
Video from last night’s Netflix Is A Joke event in Los Angeles shows the man tackling the star, before getting to his feet and evading the panicked security as he fled offstage where he was detained.
He launched at Chappelle seconds after the comic had joked about needing additional security after his controversial comments about trans people last year, with additional fears of an audience attack following the Will Smith slap at the Oscars.
