Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada’s narrative about their invocation of the Emergencies Act has been falling apart from when they first utilized the emergency powers.

At the time of the invocation, it was frequently noted that Trudeau and the Liberals could not justify what powers the police were lacking to control the situation at the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa, or how the convoy was even breaking the law or threatening anyone’s personal security.
