Benjamin Disraeli was a clever fellow.

He was Jewish and became prime minister of England during a period when, to extravagantly understate the matter, being Jewish was not an advantage in seeking the position.

He was also one of the great Parliamentary debaters, an orator and a wit, during a great age of political eloquence and repartee.
