As revealed by the National Post’s Christopher Nardi, the federal ethics commissioner has been barraged by more than 1,000 requests for the office to investigate claims that senior members of the Canadian government are under the sway of the World Economic Forum.
It’s indicative of a theory that has gained remarkable currency among Canadian right-wing circles, particularly during the events of Freedom Convoy. The gist is that the Swiss-headquartered World Economic Forum is secretly pulling the strings on the Canadian federal government, particularly when it comes to COVID policy.
The short answer is “no,” but it’s not entirely crazy to jump to the conclusion that an international cabal of ultra-elitists is secretly pulling the strings on world affairs (particularly when they keep claiming as much).

Axon – formerly known as Taser International – said that it has formally begun developing a miniature, lightweight Taser that can be deployed on a drone or robot, as well as “targeting algorithms” to assist operators safety aim the device.
