Update: Police arrest Highland Park shooting suspect
LAKE FOREST (WREX) — Highland Police announce they’ve brought Robert Crimo III into custody.
He is the only suspect in the Highland Park shooting which left six dead and more than 20 people hurt.
Police say he was spotted and tried to run, but he eventually stopped his car and was arrested.

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. (AP) — Highland Park Police Chief Lou Jogmen said Monday afternoon that police have identified 22-year-old Robert E. Crimo III as a person of interest and cautioned he should be considered armed and dangerous. Police declined to answer questions about how they identified Crimo. Authorities described his car as a silver Honda Fit with an Illinois license plate DM 80653.
