Five Ontario NDP MPPs trying to live for two weeks on a social assistance diet have come under fire by a former colleague for “cosplaying poverty.”
Dr. Rima Berns-McGown tweeted Thursday, saying the stunt — living off a food budget of $95.21 for two weeks — is a “terrible idea” for a number of reasons.
