UK: Don’t sleep around, servicewomen told

Women in the armed forces have been threatened with disciplinary action and told to stop “sleeping around” after they reported sexual abuse, The Times has been told.

The claims emerged as new analysis showed that only one in ten rape cases brought to MoD trial results in a conviction. Campaigners want an overhaul of the military justice system after a Times investigation found the conviction rate for rape cases heard at court martial was only a seventh of that in the civilian courts.
