Rates of charitable giving reach record low in Canada as need increases

Even as demand spikes for food banks and other charitable supports, a new report finds that Canadians are now donating less to charity than at any other time on record.

Why?

Economic hard times? A less religious society? An expectation that it’s government’s responsibility?

Or is it due to Canada’s transformation into a low trust, balkanized society thanks to the elite’s destructive immigration policy?
