Social norms put a lid on the unlimited appetites of human beings, which is a good and necessary thing.
As we have normalized extremely deviant sexual behaviors–usually within the rubric of the LGBTQIA++ movement–pedophiles have gained a lot of social space to experiment with and practice their desires.
