As Ontario’s Progressive Conservative premier, Ford keeps sharing the same stage with Trudeau, the Liberal prime minister — subsidizing the same factories and laughing at each other’s jokes (even at the expense of Poilievre). This isn’t the first time two first ministers from rival political parties have been so close ― Bill Davis and Pierre Trudeau also came together on the Constitution.
