Military considered delaying WW2 vets to fly Trudeau home after his plane was damaged

OTTAWA — When engine damage to his plane was set to strand Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in London, the military, with few planes to spare, was forced to consider pulling aircraft from military exercises and even the “unpalatable” option of delaying a group of Second World War veterans to bring him home.

They should have made him walk.
