World leaders are descending on midtown Manhattan for the United Nations General Assembly and with them so are protesters taking to the streets of NYC.
Activists demanding an end to fossil fuel financing were arrested outside the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Monday, according to WABC.
Their arrests came after New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) announced its gridlock alert days for the rest of the year starting with the week of the assembly.
