Police investigating complaints over a picture of someone who appeared to be dressed as a Hamas fighter at a Halloween event have suggested the image may be AI-generated.
It follows the circulation of an image on social media which appeared to show a person in the Guildhall Square in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, dressed in a uniform with “HAMAS” spelt on it.
