Binyamin Netanyahu has said that Israel’s war cabinet has authorised military plans to invade Rafah, just before he was prepared for hernia surgery on Sunday.
“We have approved the IDF’s operational plans for Rafah. The IDF is preparing to evacuate the civilian population and provide humanitarian aid,” the Israeli prime minister told a televised press conference.
