Listening to Budget 2024 brought forth a flood of memories from my past as an entrepreneur before being asked to run for office. At the time, I was under 30 and, along with my business co-founders, imbued with the spirit that most startups are fuelled by: unbridled passion, perseverance and a desire to succeed in a system where hard work pays off. As an MP, I see the same traits in young people today.
