MANDEL: Admitted child sex abuser can’t practise law — for now

An admitted child sex abuser won’t get to practise law after all — at least for now.

The Law Society of Ontario (LSO) has won a stay in Divisional Court that prevents the lawyer — who, lucky for him, can only be identified by the initials AA — from hanging out a shingle while the legal regulator tries again to overturn the controversial decision that found him of “good character.”
