Two women falsely claimed that Brigitte Macron, France’s first lady, is a transgender woman who was born male, a court in Paris was told on Wednesday.
Amandine Roy, 52, who describes herself as a spirit medium, and Natacha Rey, 48, a freelance journalist, allegedly made the claims in a four-hour YouTube video in December 2021, which has since been deleted.
