A threatened $2.5-million libel lawsuit against Premier Doug Ford has fizzled after Independent MPP Sarah Jama and her lawyer failed to serve papers before a mid-July deadline.
An eight-page statement of claim from Jama (Hamilton Centre) was filed with Ontario Superior Court of Justice and dated Jan. 11.
