
An 11-year-old girl and 34-year-old woman have been stabbed in London’s Leicester Square, the Metropolitan Police has said.
In a post on X the Met said a man has been arrested and is in custody, adding the force does not believe there are “any outstanding suspects”.
The two victims were taken to hospital and their condition is currently unknown, the post continued.

They’ve arrested the Perp but are not disclosing their identity which sounds a bit like how Southport rose to ignominy.
Update at BBC – The Met said the girl would require hospital treatment but her injuries were not life threatening, while the woman’s injuries were “more minor”. The force said there was no suggestion the incident was terror-related “at this stage”.
